I had a bacon sandwich tonight! And a couple of glasses of wine and a glass of Mango flavoured Innocent Smoothie.

Ardross....I'm sorry for not putting up a seriously decent medium curry dish just yet but things are a tad crazy here right now.

I will offer up a Rogan Josh for you, right from the creation of the basic curry sauce, the chicken tikka and then putting the whole thing together....unless you prefer lamb?.... :D

sure....a King Prawn Bhuna...or, Prawn Pathia.....a superb starter would be a Prawn Poori....essentially a small portion of Prawn Bhuna on a deep fried chapati....very nice!

Last night I had 6 pints of lager, a portion of spiced onions and poppadums, a portion of chicken chaat, mixed pakora and a chicken tikka jallandri.

This morning I repainted my toilet.

Continuing what has to be one of the forum's more bizarre topics, tonight I supped lightly on a fresh baguette with thick squidgings of Ardennes pate, accompanied (in case it got lonely) by a mixed green salad dressed by Caesar. And a jam doughnut.

I was treated to an old Zummerzet speciality when I last stayed chez Julie. A 17th century recipe for a delicious pie made with acorn-fed magpies, crows, badger cubs, and foxes. Swigged down with a traditional nettle-and-bindweed wine. Mmmm... you really can't beat unprocessed, wholesome rustic food.

A trap laced with BHWZ - horrid - imagine drowning in a vat of that - The Duke of Clarence was lucky it was malmsey .

White Zinfandel is alos of course known as " Blush" rather than rose wine . Frankly that's what anyone drinking it ought to do :D

Now Poleshill Nettle and Bindweed is another matter known for its assertive nose , astringent tannins and rather hot finish it brings up metal pans a treat

On my way back home from Goodwood (to be viewed as suitable for raceday employment or not), popped into Tesco's and was delighted to find the little bottles of Asti Spumante. Bought six. Dom Perignon - only a sample, empty bottle on display in the champers section. "Customers wishing to purchase this item please see a member of staff" - whatever next? Entrance badges?
