Congratulations to youNot sure if it should be here or in the aftertiming post - ( not that I backed him ) but the horse I have a share in, Plundering, won today over at Doomben - given my other ownership history, this really is no mean feat
Clever boy
Good luck Ed and coStraight Home runs Sunday Listowel 3.00.
Hopefully Johnny Mooney will loosen a few hurdles for her and give us a fair chance.
Goes again tomorrow (Thursday) at Wincanton in the second race. Sadly I am unable to go as I'm off interviewing a point to point trainer (part of my non-paid day job!). This time she's running over hurdles in a mares Novice hurdles. Apparently she's schooled well but there are a few in there who have experience. Fingers crossed she goes well.My mare, Parstara (well the one I have on permanent loan to keep Reg happy) has her nice four year old Springtime Legend making her second start tomorrow in the last at Aintree tomorrow. The owner did ask if I’d like to go but at 4.5 hours, it’s too far plus we have people staying.
Springtime Legend had a run at Newton Abbot in May and ran nicely finishing fourth when not at all tuned up. Think they are still on a fact finding mission and suspect this race is a lot hotter but she’s a nice mare and I’ve had a small ew out of sentiment really.
Had a nice wee touch each way. Thank you, Paul.Suprise Package back over hurdles tomorrow (and going right-handed) A Holiday Gift — Cheltenham Dream
