Chosen Comrade runs in the Listen Mares Novice at Punchestown tomorrow. They have just called an inspection due to the forecast rain (and wind) - it is not looking good. We were very hopeful before so, hopefully, it will be on or rescheduled this week. I will spend the evening looking at flight changes - an expensive proposition based on the last five minutes of research! Chosen Comrade - Punchestown

Good luck today Paul and hope he lands a big slug of prize money to pay for the re-arranged flight!

Today my friends (mulitple friends in the partnership) horse ran at Chepstow (I've flagged it up before and I should have put it on the ones I fancied but to be horses, connections were a bit negative!) Anyway my bank has decided to not allow me to stick anything in my account. So I wasn't able to even put a teeny weeny bet on..
Just won at 14-1 at Chepstow - King of the Lake 😭😭😭

The owner friend of mine who owns Wolf Walker has another in today at Windsor in the 12.59 - Springtime Legend who is the daughter of the mare I have here. She's handicapping for the first time and has a decent pull with the likely fav, Bobbi with an I who only just beat her at Wincanton. She had a knee issue at Hereford so had surgery but was fine on her seasonal debut and should come on for that. Trainer thinks she is his best chance today and is a decent EW shout.

That was pretty disappointing.... She's not really having a crack at the hurdles and I suspect is thinking about the injury she got. Maybe I'd step her up to 3m too as the pace was too much.
Or just send her pointing!! 😀 Her mum won three at Larkhill so I think she would be happier down in that grade.

Wolf Walker is out again at Wincanton tomorrow in the 1.17. It's not as strong I think as the last two races he has contested with the Greatrex horse being the main danger and also former Larkhill point winner (Wolfie also won 3 at Larkhill) Sinchi Roca in there (he's yet to jump a hurdle in public). The Nicholls horse. Innomorato was well fancied on yard debut at Taunton last time behind the ill-fated Wertpol but he ran and jumped poorly that day.

Owners wanted to go to Taunton on Saturday over 2m3 but were over-ruled..... Anyway forecast is awful tomorrow and whilst he doesn't want extremes of going, a slower surface would play into his stamina. Then it's off to Sandown potentially.

I'd be disappointed if he didn't run well.

Ah he ran well. Just bumped into one who had very good bumper form. Plus Wolfie really needs further and it was pretty dire after the rain there (I know that sounds contradictory because you expect his stamina to come into play but he's a good moving horse - mum is by Presenting which is a good indicator)
He will now go to Sandown with an increase in trip which should suit.

My mininscule share horse, Jamada, reappears at Lingfield on Monday - I'm hopeful he is over what caused the poor run last time. I do notice that the yard have another in the race which Sean Bowen is on (James is on mine) and you'd think he has first call so it looks like we are second string.

Good luck with this fella. He was treated for post-race heat stress after last time so we’re hopeful of a better showing if fully recovered

Yes it will be interesting to see how he copes with the softest ground he has run on so far. Personally I feel that his action would prefer a quicker surface. He's drifting in the betting which I thought would happen due to the other yard runner. Plus oddly on the email I got, they tipped the Gifford horse Hello Fortune!!
