Sad news for us rock guys - only 58 - died in his sleep whilst on holiday in Spain

As Eric Bell said..not a rock casualty..lived a healthy life

Very sad, loss of a musical great. Gary Moore was one of the artists I grew up with, Dad was big on music and played it a lot. Still Got The Blues is a classic. RIP.

Saw him in London last year, stunning guitar player, my fav is walking by myself,

Sadly he did look rather bloated, made me think he wasn't as well as he could be

Huge talent and I really enjoyed his music and saw them a few times.

I don't want to bring down the tone of tributes to him here, he was a nice man and I am a fan. But sadly he is most definitely a rock n roll lifestyle casualty. It is no secret that he was well acquainted with the white lady, and he died in the same way Jimi did, not a nice end at all.

According to reports today he died from a heart attack but if you are a sun reader he choked on his own vomit, either way not a nice end
