yes Colin

now..I am a real Lofgren fan:cool:..been into him from the start...saw him at Sheffield about 10 years ago..playing in a real small venue

very underrated is Nils

Not ever having watched The Sopranos has to be up there with not owning a Beatles album or having completely the wrong Zep album cover as your Av. Disappointing.

Hey, Madness are a classic. Watching this is making me wish I was there; feeling old now, haven't been to a gig in about 5 years now. Glastonbury is one of those weird places when you find yourself most enjoying the sets from those you'd least expect, either those you like but have not especially been 'in' to or the older acts. REM were the best act I've seen there and they possessed the crowd. Surprisingly David Gray was very good and was very popular as well, also a lot less straight laced than you'd have thought.

oh..you mean the content rather than the actual cover?

hard to put them in order..really like PG..didn't when it came out..took some time as I thought it was quite cold compared to earlier stuff

i'd go

1
PG
4
2
3

I always liked Wishbone Ash then as well..saw them on their first proper UK tour in 1971..excellent band then

good band KC..never saw them...have got Court/Red and used to have Wake Of poseidon

How old are you all anyway?..I had this image that I was the older one on here

I'm 53..bloody feel it watching some of this stuff as well

I've seen a few bits this evening; isn't Tom Jones looking ropey?? He looks to me like the sad medallion man lecherous type that you'd find propping up the bar in an 'English pub' in Marbella. One that has large signs outside screaming that they sell full English fry ups.

He's been like that since he was about 25 though.

Madness is one group I like because they never take themselves seriously. They're just good clean fun with no pretence to anything else. I bought David Gray's Life in Slow Motion and enjoy playing it in the car every so often. Not the paciest or most uplifting of albums but well written and well performed.

EC1 - Shadz looks like 25, but she's actually 47. It's the healthy, outdoor life, and lots of riding, that does it.
