Glastonbury

Sorry to disappoint you all - 31!

Nick Cave - barking but brilliant. There She Goes, My Beautiful World is just superb.

Hey, Madness are a classic. Watching this is making me wish I was there; feeling old now, haven't been to a gig in about 5 years now. Glastonbury is one of those weird places when you find yourself most enjoying the sets from those you'd least expect, either those you like but have not especially been 'in' to or the older acts. REM were the best act I've seen there and they possessed the crowd. Surprisingly David Gray was very good and was very popular as well, also a lot less straight laced than you'd have thought.

Have seen him (David Gray) a couple of times Shads, including sat 6 feet away on front row in small church venue in London two summers back. Very good with his band.
Had tickets to see Springsteen in Hyde Park on Sunday but fell through being able to go down there. Friends who went said it was unbelievable. Gutted.
