Graham Lee has just ridden a nice winner for Donald McCain at Chester on Absinthe. That will do him no harm at all.

He's already proven himself with several winners on the northern circuit, looking a class act in doing so. He's lacking nothing for his new job, and will deservedly make a big impact this summer. I can see him being the freelance of choice for plenty of shrewd trainers.

Just for fun. What price would he be the land a Group 1?

Aussie Jim calling him a success already because he won one race at Chester?

Richard Fahey will do well to take him to replace Paul though.

Just won another at Chester, this time for Jim Goldie.

If he keeps his strike rate like this he'll be champion jockey. He's now won 4 of his last 5 rides.

Is he a bet to ride 50 winners at 6/4-getting off to a good start was essential. If he sticks to the Northern circuit he must have a chance.

If that's Ladbrokes price it's 1/66 they have forgot to update the prices.

Declan McDonogh could be up north shortly. I'm biased but he does not give any horse inside the distance a bad ride, he's lethal.

Lee has an advantage over up and coming riders as he's won on the biggest NH stage so I can see him picking up some group race rides throughout the season. I'd surprised if he got a group 1 ride let alone a win though!!

Graham Lee is now on 23 winners and landed his first Group race on Maarek at Newcastle on Saturday. The 6/4 Ladbrokes were offering against him getting 50 flat and aw winners by the end of November is looking good value now.

The trainer providing the most winners and rides is Jim Goldie (6 winners from 64 rides) but he has five from twenty for Kevin Ryan.

Riding very well - Initially i'd thought Maarek had gotten him out of trouble but in the post race interview he intimated that connections had told him to come through horses as the horse responds better to that than daylight so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Well done to Graham Lee, who has just brought up his 50 at Ripon. I though myself that the move to the flat would be difficult for him, but not a bit of it.

Ed Dunlop is the 20th different trainer he has ridden a winner for this year.

Nothing more than casual viewing but his ride on the favourite in the 7.05 Leicester didn't look pretty!

The first thing I do is mark his rides off everynight and rarely do I see him as any value on the supposedly better quality rides infact for quite a while now he's having a lot of rides that look false prices and getting overbet. As I've mentioned before I like to see him riding the rogues and there's always a bit of value around when he rides them. Why he's not getting better rides on better quality makes no sense,i prefer it that way for betting purposes just waiting for the rogues multiple!!:ninja:
