Very easy to use - loads of live performances on Youtube that I want on my ipod....still the address in here and your away and laughing. Great quality too....probably been around for ages but only found it over the weekend!

I don't bother to own a car these days (living in a city centre) and simply hire one when I need one to go anywhere. Works out cheaper and certainly less hassle in terms of security and parking.

One thing that drives me mad though is the huge Insurance excesses on hire cars (£800 on the Golf I hired today), that more often or not are applicable regardless of blame.

You can usually reduce (or eliminate) this excess for a daily fee of £10-£15, but that can easily equate to an 80% increase in the overall cost of rental. In other words, a rip off.

Questor (and a few other firms) offer insurance against this excess, plus some other useful insurance for far cheaper (around £3 a day or £40 a year). You can take out a policy in just a couple of minutes too.

Essential for regular users of hire cars.
