You be careful with those 92 candles on the cake, DG - you don't want that nice new house burning down today! I must say, for an old codger, he makes remarkably good sense, and we never hear about the War! Just eight more to The Telegram, old boy! :D
 
Kathy - don't you remember those photos DG put up of himself and his goodladywife a couple of years back? OF COURSE he's 92!
 
Just a thought, but perhaps the forum might like to consider clubbing together to buy him a motorised shopper, or even a rolling walker? At the very least, a nice pair of tartan slippers by Chums?
 
I guess he's been dozing in the communal lounge this afternoon, after all the excitement of the birthday cake, the little dear. No doubt now warmly snug in bed after nursey brought him a cup of cocoa and a nice digestive bikkie. Bless!

Yes Tracy it was supposed to be a day at NA today but we have been home to Cornwall this weekend and the weather has been glorious (26 degrees and sunny)so as Cornwall is not too crowded at the moment we decided to stay there for the extra day and travelled back home this evening. Looking at the results I reckon it saved me a few bob too.

Jon, you remember Young Mr Grace, well he's a youngster compared to me.

For my birthday I was offered a new hat but I declined owing to the fact mine is still very trendy :ph34r: (despite having the mange)
