The markets are so competitive, and so liquid, with extra places, 1/4 the odds however many runners etc, you'd be mad not to punt the festival. Mathematically you should win money regardless of whether you're any good.

Very true-a friend of mine who is only interested in high class racing has been absolutely milking Cheltenham for 20 plus years-wouldn't know what a formbook was but an absolute animal for value and over generous concessions.
