I've enjoyed almost all of the tracks I've visited. One or two were a bit unremarkable, one or two were downright dull, but most of them provided a bit of atmosphere and some racing to get your teeth into. A few really stand out. Mind you, Longchamp is probably a place to avoid apart from the Arc weekend because the small crowds get lost in it.

Ireland

Ballinrobe
Cork
Curragh (current favourite flat track)
Down Royal
Fairyhouse
Galway
Killarney
Laytown (the most relaxed)
Leopardstown (favourite for jumps racing in Ireland)
Limerick
Naas
Navan
Phoenix Park (my old favourite)
Punchestown
Tipperary

UK

Aintree
Ascot
Ayr
Cheltenham (favourite NH track)
Chepstow
Doncaster

Chantilly
Longchamp (the most elegant)
Marseille Borely
Strasbourg (the dullest)
Wissembourg (the prettiest)

Other

Baden Baden

Herxheim (the tightest, and most dangerous)
Koln
Moonee Valley
Ostend
San Sebastian
