Probably because he's been stung by the experiences of Dunwoody and Bridgewater....Scu is like a son, most importantly, fits into their closed shop operation perfectly and it's not like there are bluebloods in every box...besides his main patron David Johnson won't have Him and Thomas Barr wasn't his biggest fan either
Well done chef but far too early to draw any conclusions about the horses in that race - this looks the worst ground I have seen in ages - a complete bog in the home straight .
No your right I wasn't trying to say he was a superstar - just a winner waiting to happen. Good to see Barizan back after a few years in the doldrums. I remember backing him in the triumph and counting my money until Soldatino cut him down after the last. I did have the consolation that day of backing two of the Twiston Davies winners Imperial Commander and Pigeon Island . Still my best day out ever - went to Cheltenham and back on The Orient Express. Thousand Stars won that day given a lovely ride by Katie Walsh - how well h'capped was he, hard to believe he went off 20/1 sadly I didn't back him but have been a fan since that day.
