Having trekked across to Ireland, very excited about Punchestown, I was extremely hacked off last Tuesday when I was left with no choice but to come home quite ill.
Luckily I got to see some sights whilst there, but missed the Festival altogether.
Hope you enjoy these pics.

I was lucky to tag on the back of a group of tourists from Manhattan and the tour guide was excellent.

Invincible Spirit was taken off to visit a mare whilst we were walking along the stallion paddocks, at which time Elusive City went bonkers. This seemed to endear him to our American friends!

Other stallions there were Amadeus Wolf, Verglas, Celtic Swing and Rakti, but sadly no pics of them.
This pic was taken by the entrance.

Hope you get another chance to go to the Festival,it is well worth it.

Thanks for those.

Was there myself about five years ago Sue, did a tour of the estate as well.
Think I have an engraved silver spoon from there too but can't remember why I received it :p

Your pics brought back happy memories, thanks very much.

Sorry to hear your illness cut your trip short, Sue. :( Thanks for the pics and remember, there is always next year!
