Irish syndicate opportunity

You want to see the queue in Bank Of Ireland. Disgraceful scenes. While standing here it occurred to me that Oran has not sent me a training regime form or race planner form to fill out. Any reason why I won't be telling Colm how to train the mare?

Colm is a front for me, As I will be in fact training the mare. Lots of roadwork ahead as she carts me home from town after a skinful. She won't be wanting for a strong back.

€260 well spent so. The mare will weigh less than what you usually drag home.

I had a long chat with Oran and Colm over a tray of shots in the Windjammer (early house) on the way into work this morning. This is the plan we came up with.

* Leopardstown bumper win at Christmas. Naas bumper win in knee deep ground in February under a penalty. Pulled out on morning of Champion Bumper due to quick ground.

Second in Tipperary maiden hurdle the following October. Fairyhouse mares’ hurdle win. Staying on third in 2m Grade 1 novice at Christmas. Hack up in the Fairyhouse Grade 3 hurdle for mares at Easter.

Then basically do a Solerina / Quevega combined the next four years. 4 Hatton’s Grace Hurdles, 4 Mares Races at Cheltenham. Retire to make a family.

* I wanted to supplement her for the Fillies' and Mares' race on Ascot Champions Day as a gentle introduction to racing. Colm insisted he was good enough to get her fit himself at home. We were about to come to blows and then Oran brought over a round of Jager Bombs and suggested we watch a bit of Lorraine Kelly and Aled Jones on Daybreak to calm the 4uck down. I reluctantly agreed.

You didn't read the small print in the lease agreement then, did you!!

(as every member from TH goes running for their copy of the syndicate agreement!!)

If she is lucky enough to make the track will we see her out in November or December?

All going well, yes. I was chatting to Colm yesterday re stable visit on 8th (gotta make sure ye see Big Zeb, Voler and Quito!!) and he said both mares have done very well for their Summer breaks and really strengthened up. Four weeks will see them a long way and I'd expect if all goes well she should be on the track in October. Any little setbacks or if she trains off a little (as mares can do) will delay that but late October is my first target.

You know the national hunt season can't be far away when da Inca is back on the gallops. Looks like he enjoyed a few gelatos over the Summer!!

So how many forum members are on board?

Granger
Grey
An Capall
Dave G
Bar The Bull
EDGT
QZY
Pricewise
Slim Chance
Del Boy (just sorting out payment)
So that's 10 shares or 25%

Overall 52.5% paid with another 7.5% definitely in and possibly another 7.5% coming in. So would be up to 67.5%, which is not bad at all given its our first time.

Off to see a sister of Dedigout this weekend so might have another one soon!!
