Win for apterix at 10/3, took 9/2 in the morning. Paddy's field was travelling well out front in the 1335 at sedgefield when came under pressure hit 2nd to last hard and although jockey stayed up lost about 10 lengths and trotted home. One to follow, not sure ot got the trip and the winner travelled really nicely.

'Plan is to school her over fences and see how she gets on. If they stay hurdling, the mares race is the obvious March Target. If chasing they would be keen to see how far she stays'
