Indeed. Any idea what happened - virus or a victim of the crash to some extent?

On a related note, he wouldn't be the only one - the likes of Eoin Griffin and Dusty Sheehy have fallen completely off the radar. Trafford Lad's Drinmore seems a long time ago now...

Edit: Tranquil Sea went off favourite in that Drinmore - O'Grady seems to have fallen at a fair rate as well.

property crash ruined Taaffe. Lost many of his owners.

dusty Sheehy is another alright.

At his peak he was captain of K Club golf club where membership cost 80K or so.
Phoenix ran a story during the summer that he got HRI job promoting Irish horses abroad but apologised the following issue stating it untrue.
He used buy foals and yearlings with NH pedigrees and sell them at home to train on from there; dependent on very deep pockets.
Wishing him well as he had some record in the mid 2000s and had his horses impeccably turned out and schooled to the minute.
