No pocket talking but clearly some questionable jockeyship there as well. Most notably Mssrs. O'Brien (repeat offender on this horse) and Moore.

Big time. Sea Moon wouldn't have won no matter where he was placed but anchoring horses at the back at Ascot with it's short straight is just brain dead.
 
it looked a good pace so i can understand not wanting to be near it..but as you say..you can't be too far back here when you turn in..the front horses need to collapse for you to win from as far back that Moore & Obrien were..poor rides to both horses
 
With a better ride SNA would have been a lot closer to Danedream here than he was at Longchamp (was anyway). She's proved herself a better racehorse than him but the excessive WFA she received last year exaggerated this superiority.

We mentioned it after the Arc but worth repeating, she was a 9k purchase.

A GREAT race. King George back where it should be as Summer Championship 12f race.
Nathaniel sweating pre race a factor or not?
Danedream still unbeaten right handed.
SNA needs to go left handed, maybe needs a smaller size field to have room to "organize" himself; like a fellow who needs elbow room to use a knife and fork.( You wont read that on Nick Mordin);)
Joseph has a whip ban, Starke has not (yet at any rate).
Sea Moon is a galloper, needs to be nearer the pace.
Reliable Man reliable but a little short of these( not much).
Meandre the Arc value at 20 /1 as of now.

Gosden always said the sweating was of no consequence to horse from this family, that appears to be correct.

Think Sna ran his race.

Nathaniel has been getting warm before his races, it's a trait plenty in the family have, absolutely no issue imo. Suspect the first 3 not up to their very best on account of how the race panned out, but a very straightforward, easy to make sense of result otherwise.
