We used to go to this pub every time we visited Newmarket and really enjoyed the food, drink and atmosphere. I was therefore disappointed when it closed down.
I understand that it has now reopened. A group of us intend going to Newmarket to celebrate my son's birthday on Champions Day and would like to go for a meal after the racing.
Has anyone been to The King's Head since it reopened and if so what is it like? I have tried to find a website for it and (surprisingly) have not been able to do so.
What sort of food do they offer and do you need to book?
Any info would be very gratefully received.
