Leopardstown Sunday

Cuis Ghaire run as she should, the Bolger special campaign is doing the effects. She will only run 4 more races this year, Moyglare,Fillies Mile, Dewhurst and RP Trophy.

Very impressed with Sea The Stars in the flesh as well. Loads of scope with a lovely temperment as well. Probably not a fantastic maiden though with the Ballydoyle colt running no race and Vocalised probably unsuited by the ground.

I wouldn't write off Zulu Chief either BTW. Very babyish in the ring, he still plenty of filling out do as well. Given that he travelled well for quite a long way only to fail to quiken in the ground as well, I would say there might be a fair bit to come from him.

Interesting comments too from AOB about Zulu Chief in the Racing Review as one to watch this month. He said they've always liked him very much, and implied that was why he wasn't raced at 2 - needed a lot of time but would be worth waiting for. This weather is playing havoc with so many well-laid plans for good horses - must be hellish frustrating for trainers
