I think we can all agree it wouldn't be a Chit Chat folder on a racing forum without a religious cult thread, so I've decided to start one.

Introducing "Lord Badgerdon," who claims to be the true supernatural creator of the universe.

A shadowy figure, little is known about his Lordship, but he's rumoured to sport black and white fur and to have appeared in "Wind In The Willows."

Lord Badgerdon advocates the eschewing of all worldly goods, in fact, the giving away of all material possessions - specifically to him.

Unusually for a supernatural deity, Lord Badgerdon has a bank account and also accepts most forms of card payments.

Finally, Lord Badgerdon is the chameleon God - he becomes Irish during the Cheltenham Festival, Scandinavian during Eurovision and, despite his aversion to Moss Side "our kid" stylised Mancs who sound like Beatles tribute acts, he is a Manchester City supporter when the other Premier League Clubs cave in the face of a scary North European forward.

Goodnight, and may your God go with you.

This religious cult malarkey is harder than it sounds - mine really hasn't got the traction I was hoping for.

Maybe Lord Badgerdon needs to start accepting cryptocurrency?

It has been several months since my last biopsy as they have been happy with my blood tests. I think this will just be routine but will have to wait a week for results.

There is no magic bullet for AML. All the chemo does is keep me alive until I pick up a really nasty infection. I have just fought off my fourth bout of Covid with the help of some anti viral tablets from the 111 doc.

Considering that the consultant at my local hospital originally told me in October 2019 that I would be lucky to see Christmas, I can only praise UCLH and MacMillan for keeping me alive.
