Serious situation

airplane firing the airport in Madrid

the situation must be serious because Zapatero is stopping his holidays, it looks more than 100 people killed.

Spain is a tinderbox at the moment and I'm sure that this hampered the rescue effort.

Not sure exactly what caused it yet but it's certainly not pretty.

Awful, 140 confirmed dead so far, my sis flew home from spain yesterday from that airport.

Terrible scenes, particularly from the airport in Gran Canaria where the waiting relatives were.

One of my best friends flew in that same plane in that route at same time last sunday.

Apparently the pilot had already aborted the first attempt at take-off. Really sad situation.
