Malware download recommendation?

Malware Bytes is very good and free.

Downloaded Sunday night, rebooted Monday morning and took 6 hours to sort out. Don't know if it conflicted with something already on my computer but struggled to remove the beast and had no system restore facility whilst it was on there.

Finally got rid with some help and will never moan about the bugger again.
