McCririck's Damages Suit

For his next trick, he's gonna sue all those who slag him off on internet fora.
Even less chance of a payout, but the publicity won't do him any harm, either. :ninja:
 
Hardly falling in line either - I don't know that I've ever had a positive view of him - all this ridiculousness has done is make me more convinced of it...
 
This is the guy who spouts extremist, racist and sexist bile regularly on a sports programme. For decades he has been allowed to do so from a soap box provided for him by producer after producer because they presumably felt his presence was important for the success of the programme. So they did nothing to curb his excesses and he got to make a cult of himself.

And he got very well paid for it.

He wasn't sacked. His contract ran out and it wasn't renewed. If he's entitled to some kind of severance pay, fine, that's more than many workers will get.

If he has any case, then so will millions of others. My own contract wasn't renewed this summer. I got no severance pay. For me, age wasn't a factor. In fact, I know they wanted me to stay on but they were obliged to take on someone who was super numere in another establishment within the local authority.

Every cloud has a silver lining, though, and I'm now in a much more satisfying and stressless situation within the same authority. Again, it's a time-limited contract but that's the way it is.

I'm not a Jeremy Kyle addict. I don't sit and and watch the sh1te on morning TV. He doesn't have to either. He has beautiful dogs. He can take them out for long walks and spend more time helping around the house or doing the shopping, like any other person out of work. He can also keep looking for work.

His whole attitude in this matter betrays what a pathetic human being he is.

For his deranged followers or anyone who watched him with a chuckle, at least we'll get one last bit of entertainment out of him in a courtroom against Channel 4.:D

I bet all his haters on here would still want to watch it live if they possibly could.:)

Agreed.

But then again, I watched most of the OJ trial too, but don't advocate stabbing waiters to death.

I woukd, however, roundly applause such a fate for McCririck.

i think you have to be deranged to find the current the C4 team entertaining tbh...some real bores on show...its not my bag.. but i wouldn't post vitriol against them just coz they are drab..which to me is as annoying as such as Mac is to the bore lovers

some people don't like drab..some don't like colourful..we all different
 
yeah i remember the car chase...

There'll never be a need for a news article entitled 'whatever happened to OJ Simpson' will there.:)

If he is to be judged by his enemies then he's top man. Hope he wins and gets a huge payout. Which he keeps entirely to himself. No charity bollocks

I'm not a great fan of his but he's vastly more watchable than some of the drones on c4. His attitude to women was always by far his worst flaw but its a nasty slur to call him a racist.
 
He's a lot of things but racist is strong, no evidence and he was one of very very few to kick up a fuss about Charles Wentworth speaking after he won the Gimcrack a few years ago.
