Kathy,

Whilst my opinion (and many others it would seem going by PMs received) is that Ardross is a biased and trigger happy moderator in general, on this occasion I think you are going on about nothing. It was just a harmless pun about a typo. I also think you're wrong about PDJ being his sidekick. Paul is very level headed and fair.

Markee,

This is not the first time I have been the butt of their little "in jokes" and sniggering and I am sure it won't be the last!

It was just embarrassing to see I had made such a blunder with the utilisation of an incorrect word. :shy:

I actually quite like PDJ! B)

You should never feel embarrassed about spelling a word incorrectly.

Wetting the bed, yes. Spelling, no.

Sorry Kathy but that was funny and completely innocuous too.... it's a real pity you didn't see it like that as I thought it was also a bit of an olive branch from James too.

Just goes to show having a sense of humour (however warped) is an obvious necessity on this forum.... <_<

OK, I believe you this once Ardross.

Ian Davies wouldn't have a hope against me in a 6 furlong sprint race. He would have to start 3 hours before me to stand even a glimmer of a chance. Plus I could be blind folded and have to hop on one leg - and I would still probably win!

Songsheet, maybe it was innocent this time, but you have to admit with his recent track record deleting my threads and constantly editing my messages, you can't be surprised that I thought he was just being plain sarcastic.

I didn't even know Ardross had a sense of humour. B)

It was an amusing joke - one which would have been made no matter who had typed it! People would have laughed at it too, I'm sure, no matter who it was made about. Still, at least after the furore that followed it, Paul will be able to sleep well tonight knowing you like him Kathy!

I have liked everybody I have met through this forum. Suny Bay was by far the most dapper, and is easily the 2nd best looking guy on here.

I wonder who wold win a race of members of this forum. I'd like to think I'd be in the first few in the betting but are there any closet marathon runners or sprinters out there who want to come out?

I was a champion (school) cross country runner Markee, but was crap at sprinting. I think I am relatively fit now, but feel that my age would definitely be against me in a race against anyone on here. I would feel safe to say I would probably finish mid division, as long as some of the old fogies on here took part! B)

What happened to the idea of a TH horserace run along similar same lines as the charity races are?? I'd be up for that one!!!

That's all right for yous young 'uns :o

AC, are you serious about cycling? Do you go out on a real bike or simulate it at the gym? (I used to do a lot of cycling and still have my 'racer'.)

Maurice get "on your bike"!. B) It will do wonders for your fitness levels and continued weight loss!

I ran in professional sprints in my younger days, mainly in the Scottish borders. Wouldn't race Gary Wiltshire for money now.

It kind of died a death dint it Dom :( ?? I was up for that too !! ( not so sure about the runnung though - dont know that my knees would stand up to it these days! )
