Monday Quiz

Actually, I'll have another tentative couple of guesses -

Stanley Unwin = Merlin?
Jim Brennan = Kotkijet/Brave Inca?? (it was the ranting bit that made me think that.....)

As for me being Trotsky - since when have I displayed the slightest socialist tendency??!!!

Have you been round at Brave Inca's house discussing your common ground on hunting and snorting Sudafed?

Stanley Unwin is indeed Merlin, and BrianH is Rasputin (although my reasoning is slightly different).

There is another ranter on the board.

I'd like to claim the points for Merlin too - I told PDJ and he decided to claim it as his own...

..and ha bloody ha - no-one badgers me about my alcohol intake, they would only try it once, at least....

Branning eh? That's these fecking English for you, can't even talk proper like.

No more takers for the last three still to be found?

Ken Barlow
Jim BRANNING (DOT'S HUSBAND FROM EASTENDERS)
Billy Bunter

FLOBBYEDDEGOCK
That reminds me of my English class at school.... Macbeth...."drink provokes the urge but takes away the ability" was the gist of it. ;)

Jim Branning = Luke

Ken Barlow = Archie

Billy Bunter = An Capall
We have a winner! Oh no, actually we don't. They're all wrong.

A clue: I think I am correct in saying that Ken & Billy's alter ego's have been mentioned on this thread already.

Jim's has not (I suspect no one will get that one cause my head's a bit gubbed - it was all that brown acid in the sixties).

Ok, two left.....

Going to risk the wrath and suggest PDJ as Billy Bunter? Through process of elimination really as I can't see him as being a Jim Branning type and you've already intimated that PDJ is one of them!

As for Jim Branning, I'm kinda stumped there - I daren't suggest the first name that came to mind....but I could always return the favour and suggest Colin? :P

  PDJ is correct (send the hate mail to Simmo, Glasgow. It'll get there.)

Go on, dare, dare - you never know, you might be right. It isn't Colin though.

Billy Bunter? Really?

"Bunter is generally a bumbler, getting into trouble through a combination of greed, stupidity, and a low but harmless cunning."

Maybe so!!
