Why does everyone (apart from Geoffrey Jones and I) think this is a funny story?
If the victim had had an eyeball ripped-out or an arm severed, the story would be met with digust. However, because a testicle (yes, one of the most humourous parts of a male body) is involved, it seems to have everyone rolling on the floor laughing.
In fact, It has even been suggested (albeit light-heartedly) that Monti (and previously Loraine Bobbit) has stuck some sort of blow for women's lib.
I see no humour in this story and feel very (and I mean VERY) sorry for the victim.
