It is rather sad to see AP so short of good saturday rides . Jonjo does not have the horses ( no Exotic Dancers nowadays ) JP has loads of horses capable of picking up small fry but few at the top level ( who is spending his cash) and otherwise he picks up Henderson spares for Geraghty .

Surely, AP's recent grumblings are unsurprising about this . He remains the finest jump jockey but it is all weekday quantity and no weekend quality . Is it not time JP got some advisers who can actually spot good horses to be ? or AP may look for a better job ?

Maybe AP just loves riding winners ... out-distancing (both ways) other jocks.
Does he just love riding? He gets a lot of rides, doesn't he?

Then, eventually, a desire for a little more glory via Saturday races come in ..
Who can blame him?

wtf stay with JPM?

I found it odd that he doesn't ride till the last three races today. I know he's doing his lowest weight for Sunnyhillboy so maybe thats a tip in itself & maybe thats the reason why he doesn't ride before the big race. He rode the Brynes horses at Wetherby the other week, but is not on them today,.but rides the Brynes horse in the 3.05!! Strange.
