It was a typo!! I had seen he was second and I only got paid for second too.Cracking shout Jinny but it's finished 2nd i think which is a shame as if Gordon had a 50/1 winner the first round of hot chocolates was going to be on him that's for sure.
Spoke to the owner who is rightly over the moon! The winner cost £190k and is their Supreme Novice horse this season who they rate very highly - he'd also had a run over hurdles whereas Wolfie hadn't. Plus he was race-fit whereas Wolfie wasn't (500 plus days off). Apparently he led and was just caught close home. Nico turned round to Richard Patrick and said "where the hell did you get that from? We thought we were going to be winning half the track!"
So definitely no chance of him going back pointing.
