First tip of our trip on 28th for those who have not been to a PTP before .........wear waterproofs and too many clothes as it is usually both wet and cold !! If the weather is dry and clement you are not far from your car to discard them ........"you can always take them off but if you don't have them you can't put them on " ;)

This is excellent advice, Gordon. I've seen plenty especially those once a year attendees who turn up in a pair of trainers which they regret very quickly. I invariably look about three stone heavier than normal on a brisk winter day at Larkhill!

NH Racing teaming up with local Point to Point in a great initiative.

If you are going to Horseheath on New Years Eve it may be worth keeping your racecard !! Very good to see Huntingdon Racecourse teaming up with a local Point to Point 😇😇 Racecards ( priced at £3 ) purchased at this meeting will allow free entry to Huntingdon’s National Hunt fixture at the Cambridgeshire racecourse on Friday 9 th January 2026.
