'Kinell! That video just about shot me off my chair - wasn't expecting audio as well!

Hope you had a lovely time, Ballydoyle. Being nice and close to the rails, you get a great sense of the speed of the horses, far better than distant shots from camera cranes, I think. Thanks for putting those up, very nice.

Dont get me wrong Frankel is a great looking horse and hopefully the new hope for the season but in the parade ring he just doesnt have the presence of say Gorgeous George (who I did have the privelege of seeing at Sandown). NOw that was a horse who could control the ring - even hubby commented on that!

It was a lovely time - albeit marred by not winning a penny! But saved by having the Scot Nat winner and my losing Spring Cup bet returned :)

Nice pics Mrs! I can understand what you're saying about his presence,I suppose its the same with Denman in th NH ranks,he seems to dominate a parade ring. As you say though, hopefully he will be this season's star & I think a lot of people are taken by him just as a racehorse if nothing else (if that makes sense!).

 Er... yes...

That special presence is like a top movie star, isn't it? Strange how a horse can march into the ring and exude that 'look' which sets him or her apart from the others. It's possibly to do with the horse's confidence in feeling dominant, that here's a little herd that he or she can boss into subservience.
