I'm not backing them either, yet. Might start dabbling next week. Not sure about the first 6 in the betting forecast after that 14/1 winner. I think that ruling was originally included as it was loosely based around VDW methodology with a bit of Clive Holt (?) tossed into the mix.

Yes it is, Harry.

I'm going to include any priced horse from now on in the results, but will add a question mark next to any that aren't in the first 6 in the betting. Come the end of the NH season I'll have an idea if I should drop that condition or not. Should also be able to see if certain courses or hurdles/chases are more conducive.

Early days.

Well, it's going OK so far, though it's still rather dull. Yet again today......

sorry [bit thick again]; what does HCP stand for? Now I'm retired and I've got lots of time on my hands I'm doing a bit of 'lazy punters black book'ing' and plein pouvoir was one that I would have picked.

Does a horse in a chase have to have won a chase there or can it have been a hurdle [or otherwise; Persian Herald won at Leicester today having won there on the flat as a youngster].

For this, it's CD winners only, not C D. So it must have won over todays course and distance, not just the Course and at the same distance elsewhere. There are other conditions in place that try to assure fitness, a decent jockey booking and that they're not carrying too much weight.

Those conditions all have potential flaws, and it would be wise to simply consider any qualifiers rather than follow them blindly. Gotta say, this is slow motion stuff, but suspect there'll be a wave of qualifiers along soon.

Seventh Hussar Lingfield 2.20 CD [H] Joshua Moore [29% strike rate at track]. Only 4 [?] runners. Will surely be odds on though.

Doesn't matter how the cards cut up, there isn't any for Wednesday either.

Both Trustan Times and Go Amwell came very close to qualifying today, but failed by the smallest of margins.
