Bar, you may well be right but I did remember enough latin to type 'calculi problem' rather than 'calculus problem' as in .... calculus, calculare, calculatum, calculatavi.

I'm glad Sarah's decided to go straight to Med school as well - I took a year off after A levels and I never really did get back into taking academic study seriously! - I'd seen too much of life in that year, and been introduced to too many other things. Medicine is vocational, but all the same the mind once it loses that discipline finds it hard to knuckle down again
