Fair play outsider! You're flying already. I'm gonna follow you this year...how do you pick out your horses? Genuinely intrigued with your excellent results!
Just by watching races mostly and looking for horses for the future.thats why i have a lot of losers because patience is a virtue.
JAVELIN was a good example of being patient,so was Traffic fluide.
Watch replays of big hcaps look for horses not getting a run or jockeys who dont break sweat.
Handicaps are my main focus the bigger the better.
Yesterday VALE OF KENT did me big favour but on here i went for RUM RUNNER because he was 25/1
If he ran from the front i thought he had every chance over this furlong shorter trip.so what did they do,hold him up not the tactics i expected.so i will have to be patient.this horse will win a decent hcap over 7f i think on that run at sandown behind his stablemate
Whos name escapes me,but has been sold to race in china with the hong kong derby the target.
2nd that day was Escocar, who was unlucky on friday,3rd via serendipity and masham star was 4th.this was a mile and rum runner was 2nd entering the final furlong.
And horses arent machines they dont always behave as you want.a good example was MILANSBAR in 5he welsh national, who completely through the toys out of the pram and downed tools.
His next race most hadnt forgiven him but i knew he was capable and Bryony Frost imo was taylormade for the horse and we were reward3d with a 16/1 winner.
A horse ran the other day at goodwood and surprisingly considering it was goodwood either didnt try or was given a bad ride.
ALFARRIS won the race but wherever he finished PIVIONE should have been alongside him.i obviously backed the wrong one.
Im not really talking through my pocket though as i only done it in an ew yankee for interest, but O.Murphy didnt give the horse a chance
of winning when the race was over so to speak he asked for an effort and finished 6th.
Somewhere there must be a race they want more than goodwood.
Watch the replay, see what you think.
