Places I wouldn't be seen dead at....

Walsworth, my great long-standing online friend, I routinely took six tiny sachets to put in my cappuccino, sachets so tiny they wouldn't amount to two teaspoons.

Over that, they managed to lose a two- to three-grand a year customer....forever!

Ian doesn't forgive and Ian doesn't forget!

It's fast approaching that time of year.

You might be tempted to attend a Cheltenham Festival Preview Night.

For the love of God just say "no" - don't do it.

You'll learn more reading this forum (nap).

"The Cheltenham Festival itself"

I'll be there Ian, on the friday, I would say I wouldn't be seen dead again in my bright yellow Galopin Des Champs baseball cap. But its that bright I'm sure I'll still be seen.
Don't worry if you miss me. I'll send photos... :p

You better not be taking Angela - she's meant to be doing the Fakenham Jumps/Southwell evening AW Double Header with me that day!

Four down, goodness knows how many to go - is it wrong (as well as deeply sad - that's a given) that I'm taking savage joy out of working out how much I am saving by not going to any of them? 😂

Could find yourself in a bit of bother in Lavery's by telling them they are a part of Britain!!

If, like me, you've swerved all those God-awful Previews, hosted by people who might be in racing but talk in tedious cliches and couldn't pick their own noses, you're probably four figures up on Cheltenham before it even begins.

Always take the positives!
