Point to points

Didn't see the person in question Arkers so unsure.

Biddick rode a double at Charlton Hawthorne on Dualla Lord (should be a very nice rules horse) and The Slug who took the Restricted.

Cotswold Vale Farmers Hunt are having a Country Fair alongside the PTP on Sunday 17th April. There's a dog show, parade of the hounds and pony races amongst other things. Being held at Andoversford near Cheltenham.

Good pointer An Siorrac due to make his comeback this weekend put down yesterday following schooling accident. Bad couple of weeks for Dermot Cox.

SOUTH GODSTONE: Sunday April 3, gates open noon, first pony race 1.00, first chase 2.00 pm. Eateries, beer tent, champagne tent, trades, bookies, and funfair. Admission £10 per person, under 16s and car parking free.

Court Farm - Tandridge Lane off A25, 2 miles from J6 M25. CrapNav: RH8 9NJ, inquiries 01435 866871 or go to http://www.sehpointtopoint.org.co.uk

Unless it's piddling down, I'll be there this time.

Back York trained horses (Phillip or Ray), York ridden and Cannon ridden horses and you should find a few winners.

Dusherra looks a mare to keep on the right side of judged on her romp in the Restricted

Pleased to report that Dusherra followed up her Godstone win in the 5 runner Members race at Parham on Saturday, she was a 5/4 joint favourite.

Agree with SL on York and Cannon, the winners not ridden by them will likely be ridden/trained by Nick Pearce for the Tindall family, those who own King Edmund amongst others.

Half tempted to start a "Road To The Essex National" thread which takes place at Marks Tey this weekend - will go through the runners later and if anyone heads to Godstone then Beside The Sea will get the candyfloss cash in the 148cm pony race.

Rory will be pleased to hear that Phil York is currently sharing the lead in the men's PTP title with John Mathias. Nae so bad for a jockey who isn't capable.... :D

This will be the right place to add for Arkwright's benefit that Gina Andrews is currently on 14 winners for the season, the current second is Sam Drake on 7.

Until this mention, I hadn't noticed Arkwright's earlier comment about Gina. You not a fan, Arkers? She's a very good jockey, as is her sister - about whom [Bridget] I was told 2 or 3 years ago by someone connected to the girls that "she's even better than Gina".
