I couldn't see a thread for this. Anyone got a position or taking a view? With or against the filly?

Just watched Cracksman win the Prix Niel easily. Be annoying if they don't let him take his chance.

Would love to see Cracksman have a go at Enable. Disappointing if he's not allowed to take his chance. A baffling one aswell.

The filly is class.

Completely against. Three races, two of them quite hard in soft ground in under six weeks - then a break of 6 weeks before the Arc. Can't see Enable being at her peak. I have bits and pices at big prices on Zarak, Seventh Heaven and Brametot.

Enable has a similar profile going into the race as the same stable's Taghrooda; who didn't make too bad a fist of the Arc.
Imo, Cracksman won't go as they know he wouldn't beat her.

Similar profiles......you trying to be funny?....Taghrooda was damn ordinary in comparison to Enable who like Frankel would have picked up her daddy and carried him.

She is already odds on to win the richest prize in Europe and not even AOB can muster up a challenger worth talking about.

The French have nothing AOB will send something but it's too far for Winter.

In what is usually a competitive race I can't see what can possible get her off the bridle

Taghrooda's runs at Ascot and York weren't on soft ground and she didn't go to the Curragh. I'd also argue her run at Longchamp, fine though it was, still wasn't her best form.

I'd love to know what was her best form..........Tapestry beat her and never won another race, the entire Oaks field after the race won like 1 race between them..........She beat Telescope in the King George who scraped home in a listed race after that.........was a crap year and she simply wasn't within a stone of Enable

Oppenheimer is nut though not running Cracksman............We just say Winter get turned over by her stable companion..........can't win if you stay at home

Telescope's run after the KG was a length further behind Australia in the Juddmonte than he was at Ascot. So why don't we judge the horse on those runs rather than his worse one. Enable is a better filly than Taghrooda but not by a lot, maybe 4lbs.

Maybe because Australia never ran in the King George:).... Don't worry....Doc gave me some alzheimer's pills I can let you have...they're great and help you remember to forget things,

Taghroodas win in the king george was better form tahn any of enables wins this year.

Really..............how about you back that statement up with some hard facts

Taghrooda ran off 113 in the King George and they put her up to 125. Then in her very next race she ran to 112.. Telescope IMO was rated way too high to start with the horse had more second prizes than a punch drunk 1 armed boxer

In the Arc she ran to ran to 119 at most.Enable has won everything going and is already rated 127 so where you are coming from?

I compile my own ratings

Enable is the most overrated horse since Gleneagles

she is a 120 fillie and in my book is unlikely to run to form next month, long hard season

dont need the pills

the only thing I need to remember is my username and login to check the figures

the official ratings firms have lost the plot long time ago

just to show a recent example
rpr and timeform have enable higher than harry angel

That was aimed at me Suny. What I meant was Telescope was a length further behind the winner in the Juddmonte than he was at Ascot.

I dont do ratings but I've seen this filly in the flesh and she will be improving if anything - Ratings won't tell you that nor will a tv camera. I was surprised by how much of physical specimen she is. And if she is improving, she'll pick them up and carry them provided Frankie gets a decent sit in the race.

If she's only worth a rating of 120 we need to downgrade an awful lot of horses. I wouldnt back her at the odds now but i piled in hard for the KG and that made my punting year.

Are you sure? Trust me mate when you start answering the wrong posts the next step is you end up on a knitting forum in error

Enable could easily end up one of the greats.

She improved on her Chester run by about 10lbs and hacked up by 5 lengths in the Oaks, Then for good measure she took on the Irish on their home ground and gave them a 5 1/2 length hiding

Her defeat of Ulysses (now 127) by 4½ easy length was nothing short of spectacular when you consider he took the scalps of both Barney Roy before and Churchill after in the Eclipse and the Juddmonte

Then they gave her what was nothing more than a racecourse gallop which she wan yet again without turning a hair.

I don't want to labour on the point but if she's a 120 filly then I agree with Aragorn they want to start at Frankel and know 12 lbs off every horse who ever graced the turf.

Without hesitation I would have her higher than her 127 OR at around 130 soon to be 133 up there with the likes of Zarkava

Ulysees' optimum trip is 10f and he wasn't at his best in the KG and wasn't that far ahead of Idaho - who wouldn't be anywhere near as good as BR or Churchill.

great reading of the formbook
the fillie will end in 135
Ulysses and Highland Reel had his ideal condtions in the KG
and Coronet is a 120 fillie
Rhodendron stayed in the oaks

impossible to argue with that:confused:

That's a bit like saying we best oppose the fav in the supreme novices because they always get beatenIf not for 5 of the last 6 renewals going to fillies I doubt she'd even be going off favourite personally, Judge her on her merits.

PS: I won't be backing her :)
