Punchestown Thursday

I think that after Quel Esprits victory it has been the best meeting for me financially ever!! I think i spent far too long studying form at these other meetings, my gut instincts have served me well here!!
 
Me and the chaps met Quel Esprit's owners over Cheltenham...........grand, salt of the earth racing people - absolutely chuffed for them.

Given that the horse Quel Esprit beat today is Skorcher, proud winner of the bumper we sponsored at Navan, I find it impossible to disagree.
 
Me too - I backed Skorcher quite big for a place today, well pleased with that!
I also backed Inca for sentimental reasons - find I can't back against him having met the legend! - but I guess he didn't get the trip, or maybe has just had enough now

What tremendous fun he has given us all, a great horse whom we shall never forget... and I'm sure you thank God Cantoris, if he finishes with that run, he is safe for another kind of life
