Will Ian Davies ever get over his jealousy of Walsworth for having started this far more popular than anything of Davies's Chit Chat thread?

That reminds me of an occurrence in one of the schools in which I worked.

I'd had a 'professional disagreement' with the head teacher of a local primary school I used to visit to teach the kids. We were unable to resolve it as we were both standing our ground (and I was in the right).

I reported the incident the my own HT when I got back and she agreed with me and congratulated me on my professionalism.

It was no secret that the two women didn't really see eye to eye anyway so I was relieved to hear her next comment:

Well, yer no' goin' back there as long as ah've goat a hole in ma airse!

(Well she was Kilmarnock born and bred.)
