He was, by all accounts, a lot happier after seeing the replay again. Diamond Harry has never had a rigorous campaign and it's arguably telling in his demeanour.
 
Both Leopardstown and Naas are currently unraceable with more rain and snow forecast as well as heavy frosts.
 
That's brilliant news from my point of view!

Hard to see Leopardstown not being on though. If Naas is off, Nicanor will run in the Moriarty BTW.

Hennessy Gold Cup 2009
Following heavy snow and 47mm of rain overnight the course at Leopardstown is currently unraceable due to waterlogging.

A significant improvement in weather conditions will be required to enable Sunday’s Hennessy Gold Cup meeting to go ahead.

The current weather forecast indicates that it will be dry for the remainder of today with some wintry showers overnight. From there on, the weather is expected to be mainly dry.

The course will be monitored on an ongoing basis and a further update on conditions will be issued tomorrow.

Sunday’s big meeting at Leopardstown, featuring the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup, is under threat with a lunchtime inspection scheduled for today.

“The inspection is going to start very shortly and we should have news after one o’clock,” said general manager Tom Burke.

“We’re getting some snow again, which we weren’t expecting.”

It doesn't sound massively hopeful when they are inspecting on Thursday for a Sunday meeting.
 

THE Turf Club has announced that Leopardstown will hold a further course inspection at 7.30 am on Friday, 6th February ahead of the scheduled fixture on Sunday, 8th February. Conditions at the track had improved prior to this morning’s inspection by Turf Club Officials, but snowfall since 10.30 am has left the course currently unfit for racing
 
Naas called off.

Pandorama very likely to run at Leopardstown now BTW if it's on. The owner certainly wants to.
 
Interesting he is running them both in the race, although i suppose its gettin to the stage where he has to get a run into them before the festival.
