I'm a bit sorry Outstanding Older Horse didn't go to THE TATLING, though! Perhaps there should be an Outstanding OAP award next year, and perhaps special awards to those horses who, like darling-sweetheart-cutie-pie KINKEEL, get safely round 100 chases/hurdles/flat runs. The Ton-Up Club Award, maybe?

The Awards bash is held in December of each year, I think, so that it reflects a full year of racing. This one, as the title suggests, was held last month, in 2011.
