Yes, it occurred to me at the 48hr dec stage that maybe Saturday wasn't the day because Tudhope was to ride Fresh for his retainer. I think O'Meara and maybe the owners want him to be up when it hacks up. I know other jockeys have won on him and I still backed it the other day but did wonder.
There's the £100k hcap at York it won last year en route to Ayr (found trouble in running in the Stewards' Cup), and maybe that's the plan.
