Royal Ascot 2015

Gleneagles I make 1/6 in a match bet. It's not as clear cut as Frankel against Canford Cliffs but it's not far off. High class 3yos favoured by the weights in the race and an easy mile not up Solow's alleypipe.
 
No doubt. But if two fairly equal horses meet in the race, one a 3yo, one older, I would always favour the younger animal - look at Rip Van Winkle's two runs in the race.

I have to say if your offering around 11/2 Solow then I'd be the first in the queue ;)

If only top class milers were kept in training a bit longer
Kingman vs Charm Spirit vs Gleneagles would be a belter in something like the Marois.
 
I'll be staggered if Gleneagles can't take care of Solow around Goodwood on decent ground.
