I think it's more to do with the favourite Gareth who looks a very impressive animal but I'd have them closer than they are in the betting. Has to be a worry that the Meehan filly will struggle to make up the ground on Gypsy Robin.

This seems a race to me where the bookies have priced it looking at the numbers to the left of the horse's name rather than the actual form. Music Show is the best of these over a mile yet is actually priced at 8/1 in places. Her win in the Matron might be the best form available and she was only 3L behind Goldikova in the D'Astarte the time before that. She's fully exposed of course but surely she can be forgiven her runs this year against the Colts at Sandown and over 10f at York - not that they were bad efforts by any means. Of her rivals Sajjhaa is surely a filly who wants a longer trip and Seta and I'm a Dreamer have been winning soft races.

I take pretty much the same view of the race, none of the principles appeal too much. I've got doubles running off Strong Suit on to both Music Show and Anna Salai.

Great performance from Lollyfordolly-she had to battle hard.As I believe I said on here two runs ago she is a great advertisement for Oratario.
 
The ground today was just a touch faster using the times. Its also clear from the times that the round course is slower..on both days..we also know that even when they enter the straight that the farside is slower so I've taken Rewilding and Frankels race and used both to form an allowance for teh round course..as both days are very close on ground speed they can be combined imo.
