Sanctuaire sold

Would it be covered by insurance? Terribly sad to hear it, though, when I think that it wasn't that long ago he was the only horse thought of that was likely to give SS a race. [I know someone that sold Hasty Prince to JP and was staggered by how much these horses sell for].

When he won a novice hurdle at Taunton prior to winning the Fred Winter Ruby was amazed at how long it took to pull him up.His Cheltenham win promised a lot but his quirks soon became apparent.Fences seemed to revitalize him and this time last year the markets said he had a shot against Sprinter Sacre at Sandown.His win at Kempton over Christmas said a lot about him-extremely moody but equally talented.
I was intrigued when he was bought by the Mullins stable and even more intrigued when Willie entered him over 2.5 miles but we will never know what he might have done.
