There's a 14f maiden at Lingfield (turf) in August, the only one of its type in the entire racing calendar. Charlton should have waited for that, and if Keys didn't win, then waited for it again in 2012.

From memory there is a fairly good 2 mile maiden at Navan in October-usually features some half decent jumpers-Back In Front won it a few years ago.

I think there is more than one staying maiden in Ireland.

There used to be one in Clonmel in May, but I have just checked that meeting this year and it has disappeared.

There are two 16f maidens between now and the end of the season, but they are restricted to 4yo+. One is at Tramore on 12 August and is restricted to "Ladies", and the other is at Navan on 5 October.
