Songs you'd forgot about.

this one has just come on my ipod - love it when this one comes up.

Go Wild In The Country - Bow Wow Wow
Bow Wow Wow are playing at a venue near me later in the year (I recently went to see Crash Test Dummies there & I'm going to see Mary Coughlan there in April)

I've listend to Alison Krauss recently, said to have the voice of an angel. This led me to think of this one

Jussi Bjorling - Che Gelida Manina

No Milk Today by Herman’s Hermits is like Bus Stop by The Hollies. Both beautifully crafted songs. I often dig them out on utube and have a quick blast. Another favourite of mine is the Mathews Southern Comforts version of Woodstock. I’ve got several Alison Krauss cd’s. I must relisten to them.

Graham Gouldman has written many superb songs, just like - here it's back to the thread title - another songwriter Albert Hammond (Free Electric Band)

I knew an incredibly Good looking girl back in the early nineties who met a famous English popstar. The drugs that they did were so powerful it took her about 72 hours to come down.

I was very friendly with a lovely redhead and got on great with her. Unfortunately when I took her out she was on a downer from her habit. What a waste of a lovely person. Hate drugs with a passion. Seen cause so much harm.

Rubber Bullets 10CC.
A forgotten talent. Messers Gouldman, Godley, Creme, + Stewart. So good the whole bunch. Used to love the Godley + Creme stuff as well.

I went for a Cheeky Girls selection on shuffle for yesterday's park run. Great to reacquaint with the old classics, particularly 'Cheeky Song.' (Touch my Bum).
