Songs you'd forgot about.

I can see it now. Mrs O leading, you there on guitar & backing vocals and Orchidette on the left

I'm as good a strummer as anybody on the air guitar but that is my limit.

Mrs O is no fan of karaoke and only ever attends when it's karaoke evening in the hotel lounge when we're on holiday and she has had enough g&ts to not notice that I'm up singing.

Orchidette is even shyer than me but deals with it by participating in am-dram productions, usually musicals, and I will admit she does a brilliant Britney Spears.

I used t go to a pub back in the day where a young lady used to sing St Elmos Fire which used to make the hairs on my neck stand up.
She was brilliant.

I’ve been watching Riot Women which was ok but it got me thinking back to Courtney Love playing Glastonbury which is one of the stand out performances I’ve seen in all the years I’ve been watching it

Typical Sunday morning chilling & I heard this when I was listening to the great "The harder they come" soundtrack

A number of years ago there was a programme on the BBC called Songwriters Circle which one week featured Neil Finn, Roddy Frame & Graham Gouldman. Well worth checking out imo but as a taster here's Mr Finn singing Fall at your feet accompanied by Messrs Gouldman & Frame
