just thought it was really bad price considering its a hard race to carry a penalty in...at 5/2 would have been on..War Envoy has took a lot of lengths out of him at the end against a strong pace bias here.
 
Penalty was the only slight concern but anything better than odds on I thought was a good price against an average field. I thought he would be odds on.

Like High on life and York Glory in the next.
 
Not got a strong view on the next but going to have a few quid on Ansgar e/w.

Gregorian needs a little more give, Aljamaheer wants it rattling fast and he's an overrated horse IMO and Cable Bay looked difficult last time and his form is average.
 
I want to take on Kingston Hill, not convinced he wants this trip.

I like Alex My Boy, he has the pedigree, I expect him to be ridden aggressively as he will stay and looks to be improving - 16/1 is a nice price. I expect Romsdal to be involved as well.
 
yeah didn't do kingston hill in the end and don't get this betting support. no bet for me but if i was forced i'd probably have romsdal.
 
Derby form looking rock solid. Romsdal ran a good race as well.

De Sousa needs his head examining, poor tactical ride on a horse that clearly isn't quick but stays. Quite a slowly run race to the eye.
 
Great race for the Leger - good to see the Derby runner up and 3rd fighting out the finish .

Windshear looks nailed on for next year's Gold Cup ! Stays forever by the looks of it .
 
Great result and just rewards for a very patient team. Varian comes across as such a quiet, unassuming bloke but shows fair judgement in his determination to do the right thing when it came to the horse. Can't have been easy withdrawing him late from 2 top contests so I am really pleased he got it right today.
