I don't imagine Varian takes any decision lightly. And I wouldn't want to play him at poker.

It's a great result although I was a wee bit concerned Atzeni had overdone the waiting tactics. Very refreshing that we had a winner who took in the Triple Crown races and this win was much deserved and overdue.

I can't help thinking if Australia had won the Guineas he'd have come here and it would have been a race and a half.

Also can't help thinking the O'Brien horse was there to make the pace for KH but maybe I'm just reading too much into that.

Leger looked very slow, had same thought about the pacemaker...... Easy enough race leaves KH fresh enough for the Arc.
