Summer Has Arrived!

Fantastic views, DG!!

I happen to agree with Jon here - do you really think Jule swould let a Mike Delfino lookalike get away without forcing him into some sort of service??!!!!!

He'd be handy if you needed a ballcock replacing too

Stone me, Brian's prescient too - how did he know the ballcock in the tank in Dark Barn's overflowing???

Is there nothing he doesn't know?

However, I have my own versin of Mike Delfino, thank you all very much, and he can replace more than just a ballcock, y'now! :P

... but he's working on building up a mysterious past with Julie's help... B)

Call THAT hot, Dom? Pshaw! You lot know nothing! Why, when I was out in the desert, with just a urine-convertor to save me...

Isn't that An Capall's nose peeking out of his oversize sheepsking coat on a cold day in The Emerald Isle.

Great photos Songsheet. Could you tell me how to post them on here, as I have a couple to post but just cannot work out how to do it.

I had a business meeting in Stevenage today and the car took me there from Stanstead. I thought the countryside was gorgeous - havn't a clue where it was.

It's in a country called E-N-G-L-A-N-D, An Capall.

The natives may look fierce, but the woad is just put on for the tourists.

That's what I thought, Auntie, but the the Taxi driver said it was a place called 'Engerlund', and it was been overrun by 'Bleedin Paki's'.

Thats when I got confused.

Your conveyance passed through Hertfordshire, Intrepid One, which is renowned for having in it a place called Knebworth, where rustic festivals of music have played to the rapture of thousands. Verily, it lies close by the place known as Stevenage, your journey's quest.

You did well to proceed thus far, Fearless Heart, since you were north of the Great Divide known as Potter's Bar, where none but the bravest, or most foolhardy, venture. South, or as The Enlightened say, sahf, of the Bar lie towns whose streets are paved with gold, especially that of the vast metropolis, Londinium, which to its' gilded inhabitants forms the axis of the very Universe.

Now that you have conquered the Wild Places, Great Venturer, fear not to aim your next carriage at this glowing Centre of the World on your next foray. God speed...

Just trying to post a photo and having one of those "thick" moments. Will be back later to try again. :shy:

If our Great Explorer thought Hertfordshire was gorgeous, he'll have multiple organics down your way, Songy!

I was just saying that I thought the rolling farmlands and fields of Herts were a lovely backdrop for a drive in the country. Why am I always picked on?
